HO T5 lighting question.

Will any Ho t5 work? I noticed most non aquarium Ho t5 lighting comes with a 6500 k bulb would I just need to replace it with another bulb? And how high up would I put those?

Yes. You want to use a T5 fixture that's designed specifically for aquarium use.

I would use an aquarium fixture, but that being said ssc asks a good question. If this is just for lighting a FOWLR tank then no need to spend on a hefty T5 aquarium fixture.

If you are looking into stony corals I would get a decent aquarium fixture to start.
