hole in fish

I've been told this is possibly a bacterial infection. I can't catch him to QT...anyone know how I can treat this, or what it is....

He had a little bump on him, thought it was a battle wound, now it's a hole thats getting bigger in his side. It's a pyramid butterfly.

if it is marycin 2 is the way to go but it is hard to say without a picture.

Is the hole directly on the side of him or ??

First choice is Nitrofurazone in quarantine. This species of butterfly seems to have problems with uronema and bacterial infections. Nitrofurazone in Qtank can help with either.
