Hole in the head?

I have a purple tang in QT. Been there for a week and he was at my lfs for about a week before I picked him up. I would not have treated with copper but within a couple of days he started scratching himself against the pvc elbow so I figured better safe than sorry. I am a few days into treatment with Cupramine. I am noticing what looks like erosion behind and around his eyes. My guess is that its hole in the head disease. He is very active and eating very well. Do we have a thread on this somewhere? Is there a way to treat this? I've heard that tangs can recover completely from hole in the head but if I can do anything to help him I would like to.

danderso, I have this experience with a blotched anthias i special ordered from a LFS, it was a $300 fish and I posted pictures and had threads because i was freaking out. I ended up losing the fish and was unable to get my LFS to replace it.
