Need to use a 4" ? hole saw (NOT for glass) and was wondering if anyone this side of the river has one. I need to cut a hole for a dryer vent for the tank.

Hey Brian!

Got a sawzall?

You could always cut a 10 X 4 rectangle and then use a 10 X 4 boot that converts to a 4" round pipe.

Yeah, they're like 20 at slowes. But I was just checking to see if I didn't need to buy something I'll only use once.

Craptain- the kit I bought has the cover plate and 4" pipe, but just figured I only need to cut a hole for the pipe and mount the vent flush to outside wall. Wife's not crazy about me cutting a hole in the house anyway.

And to think that I always thought of you as a man.....my bad.

Look, I don't get it. I can get away with the big tank, pretty much putting in a whole new wall, tearing up the ceiling and the only comment she makes is " you sure you want to cut a hole in the house?"

I've already had her helping too much. Anytime something went wrong it became her fault and then Grace got to hear a LOT of four letter words:D
