Can someone who is on the BOD please tell us the specifics of the Party.

Some of us have never been to it, as it is our first one to attend.

Like, Is the gift exchange one gift per person or per couple. Is the group getting the pizza's and is there a way to put orders in for types of pizza.

The way it has worked in the past you may bring one gift per person or one per couple, You just exchange one for one. So if you both want a gift, you both bring one. Nobody is required to bring a gift if they don't want to participate in the swap. It's one of those Yankee swap/white elephant swap things. Different groups play it with slightly different rules about the number of swaps, but basically, you choose a gift and someone may steal it from you, swapping theirs with you. Everyone that brings a gift goes home with one.
I don't know what the pizza arrangements are.

I somewhat remember Pizza and soda was on the club but still would be nice to hear from anyone from the BOD. There was another thread about the $ amount limit also that never got an answer.

I talked to Karen (librarian, ran the meeting last time, thanks Karen). She's been talking to the current BOD members who are still active (James, etc). It sounds like they might be a bit short handed. I'd appreciate it if any the board member elects who can help show up at 6:30. Please note, the current board members will be running the party. Please follow their lead.

For now, assume it will be the same as previous parties. If you bring a gift you take a gift, no more than one $10 gift per person.

The board will get the pizza order going with a selection of the usual popular stuff (combo, peperoni, hawaiian, vegitarian). If you want something special post it here. I'll bring it to the party.

As BOD -elect, My wife & I will come early to help with the setup.
If I correclty recall, In the Gift Exchange, The Item(gift) can only be "stolen" 3 Times, The 4th person to handle the gift keeps it. With the number of people we had in the past, we should have a Fun Time.
