Holy cow what a mess(update on they paly war)

Obviously I screwed this up pretty badly.

The good news is basically every soft coral in the system seems relatively unharmed, the fish all appear to be ok as well, the clam I caught at the skyway seems to be ok too, and some of the trumpet coral may make it.

The bad news is it killed all 3 of my daughters urchins and my sps frags that had been doing so well.
I just hope the lfs where I traded the rock doesn't have issues from it.
 
Big thanks to Colton for coming by today and once again fixing my aquascape. Sorry for the bad pic but things are still a little stirred up at the moment.
 
I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago when I switched my tank from a 110 to a 150. We all coughed for a few days and the dog got sick as well. My hands even swelled up. At that time I attributed to something in the sand that I moved but never really did figure it out. I lost 1/2 my fish and most my SPS except a huge green slimmer I had. It was winter (Michigan at that time) and it was dang cold airing the house out!

Anyway, glad you and your family are ok now!!!!

I am thinking that tampa snooker is on the right track probably some type of toxic algae, maybe was part of the palys "infauna".

Just seems really weird that it did so much damage to the sps corals and didn't affect the acros at all, even a few pieces I accidentally broke off when moving them seem to be doing well.
The trumpet is actually coming back fairly well, but all the other sps frags i had appear to be goners.
The mushrooms are still angry but look like they will be ok, and the zoas and other palys seem ok today as well.
The Royal Gramma died yesterday and the Japanese Swallowtail that was in the sump died as well.
It appears that the snails died as well, but the shrimp are ok.
I am still seeing pods in my frag tank which surprises me because I read that palytoxin kills them.

No update as far as what it was, but I still think it was something from those blue/brown palys. That said I did notice the beginnings of a bubble algae outbreak, and when I went to look In the sump my chaeto/macro light wouldn't stay on, turns out the ballast was bad. I replaced the ballast right away and things are looking much better now.Could have had something to do with the issues as well, but I doubt it as the bubble algae was just on the overflows. There was a diatom outbreak for several days as well, but it too is clearing up. Nothing else has died and everything that survived gets a little better every day. Here are a few pics of the tank as it sits now.
