Crack

Crack

I have a 100-110 gallon stock tank that is empty if you need to use it for awhile, and I live close.

Dude, that sucks! I'm having a hard time seeing the crack in your pics, is the corner seam pulling apart? Where is the crack at on the tank?

Thanks guys I didnt drain the tank Chad and I took some acrilic and shored up the top and bottom of the crack. I will take a better pic later. It goes from the front of the euro bracing and goes out to the side all the way to the out side panel. I talked to Gary and I will get a answer Monday but for now I will just keep a real close eye on it.

The crack is about 10 inches from the front pane. It is about 7 inches long if your looking at it it is on the laft hand side.

John, sorry to hear about your tank:( I hope that ART steps up and takes care of you on this very serious problem. BTW, what is the thickness of your acrylic? Could this have been a stress issue?

I have a 150g stock tank of yours that you can have back whenever you want it. I also have room in my 300g stock tank for anything you want/need to house.

It is 3/4 I guess they should have made at least 1 inch Thanks for the offer I may take you up on that.

Just let me know....I have calcium of 450, magnesium of 1350, zero nitrates and not sure on phosphates...I have some stonies in there now that are only a couple days in, so not sure how hospitable it would be until I run some phosphate remover.

My smilie face was supposed to be a sad face...not trying to make fun of your situation.

I didnt even notice, what ever I do I have some corals the size of basket balls that Im going to frag up. It sucks but what do you do.

Sounds like a reason to have another frag swap.

Been thinking about that any way so we might as well get to planning one.

This just sucks!! No other way to say it. I am very sorry to hear this has happened. Let me know if you want to get all the stuff out of the tank to be safe. I am available Monday and Tuesday nights and days this week.

Chad and I went to John's today and helped him put an acrylic "patch" where the crack was. It's a temporary fix but hopefully it'll hold until a replacement tank can be found.

I finaly got my photo bucket to up load some of the side cracks.
