home from the kentucky derby

It's just sad. I've been a customer of the guys since the day I turned 6 and he turned around and did this. Granted, because of how long I've been a customer of his I won't just stop going to him, but if he keeps doing it I might have to. I had ordered 3 haitian reef condies, 1 for my reef and 2 for my LRFO, he turned around and ordered a seabae, a true carpet, and 2 maxi minis saying these will be better. I may just give him one more chance. On a good note, my tuxedo ships tomorrow =D

he sounds like a bit of a control freak. he seems to be taking an awful lot of liberty with your orders. maybe if he's stuck with that stuff for a while, he'll think twice about changing your order.

if i didn't already have 3 urchins, i'd get a blue one. they are SO pretty!

That's what I ordered. The store I went to has a giant book full of what she can order and what they look like and all that and the blue just looked the best.

I've heard stories of nervous fish being impaled on longspine urchins due to darting around and accidentally running into them.
For my money, tuxedos are best. They only bulldoze a tiny bit, stay small, aren't sharp or venomous, and shouldn't eat your corals. They can be a bit annoying with the picking-up-of-things, but they won't do that if you glue stuff down.

Been to an aquarium that had a few longspine urchins. One of 'em had spines at least a foot long... Couldn't see the body because it was behind some rocks.
They also had a smaller longspine that had some white spines as well as black ones. Is that some kind of mutation?

Mine doesn't wear hats anymore, but she did pick up a best friend uploadfromtaptalk1403639840126.jpg
