Homemade chow & mithrax quetions

I'm reading Wilkerson's book about making your own frozen chow. One of the recipes calls for squid... Well, we don't exactly have squid readily availble for human consumption here-it's bait here unless you're at a nice restraunt. So I'm curious as to how those of you who make your own frozen chow using squid go about it. Do you use the bait grade or search around town untill you find human consumption grade squid or have your local grocery store order it for you?

Second question-anyone had a problem with their emerald crab munching on their clown eggs? Mine has doubled in size is a very short amount of time and has a voracious appetite and I'm a little concerned about her remaining in the main tank if its going to pose a threat to my maroon babies.

Thanks!!

You can use bait squid for your clown chow with no issues, as for emerald crab eating eggs (never had that done to me, but someone here might have some info for you) use the search function and see what you find.
