HOOD or OPEN TOP

dont know if i should go for and incandescent hood with 2 10wpc or just any light fixture to be open top. what you suggest. brands, ect.

It depends on your lights that your choosing.

I always like to leave some open and some closed. Like on my tank now, I have a canopy with PC's.... so half the tank is covered with a glass top, so that evap does not seep into my lights and rust things. Then in the back, it is open for gas exchange.

High lighting will cause more heat, which usually means open tops.
