no thanks to UPS that is. i swear to god.....those people are such morons! my pakage was supposed to be here on thursday, but 2 different drivers weren't capable of locating my apartment. they said "it didn't exist" . so if you need something shipped dont use UPS! this wasn't the first time either.....more like the 7th or 8th time. FED EX has no problem finding me.....

anyhow i was given a loan from one of my maintenance customers in order to purchase an RO unit. i was always having to borrow another customers filter to do all the servicing of my customers tanks...plus what water i needed for my own tank. quite the pain...and fairly unproffesional to be doing aquarium maintenance and not to have your own filtration unit. anyhow i decided to go with the SpectraPure CSPDI-90. it was fabricated on 2-6-09 and i got it today! it's sweet! it has a built in 2 way TDS meter, (measuring the tds of the tap water going in, and the clean water coming out) pressure gauge and produces upto 90 gallons a day!

Nice to see the two way TDS!

I picked one of those up from bulkreefsupply.com recently for $28.95

Thats awesome I have one on my ro/di as well.. My ro/di was by far my best purchase ever for my reef tanks

Nice Jake. It must have been a significant hassle without it.

Bummer about UPS. That's very frustrating. It might be worth trying to get to know the driver in your area. The right expression of appreciation might insure future packages make it to your door.

I'm running an AquaFX Mako myself. 1 micron sediment filter. RO membrane. 2 color changing DI cartridges. 2 "Chloramine Blaster" cartridges that remove chloramine. Capable of 100g / day.

Seeing what my sediment filter removes makes me think all builidings should have some industrial filter on the main line in.
