hope everyone in the Southern Tier area rides out the storm OK

we don't expect to have a problem, but one never knows...

we are on the side of a hill several hundred feet up from creek level, on a well, whole house generator setup, fuel for week, etc...

The 750 gal system is now fully up, but we still haven't put any coral in it -- just fish, shrimp, crabs, snails, etc... decided to let it stabilize for at least 6 months b4 adding coral -- so we're close.

It has: 1 PB, 5 YT, 9 BGC, 3 skunk cleaners, 3 fire shrimp, pin cushion urchin, serpent star, ~300 hermits, 2 emerald crabs, 1,000+ various snails...

Currently in QT: 1 male Lyretail Anthias & 8 female. That will do it for fish, we next begin on coral.

The 4 MP40s are on battery backup and we have the house generator when needed... so I think we will be OK. Plus already have another 120 gal ready for water changes -- I have to do 45 gal/wk anyway.

the build thread is over on R*2*R

Binghamton was spared we just had a good rain storm. Nice to see updates on your set up the rock work continues to amaze me. Cant wait to see the coral stages of your set up.

we had high winds over here on our hill, but I think everything is still intact. I haven't been out to survey the barn yet, but I was up there last night and the metal roof was really groaning from the wind.

so far, we have not had power even flicker...

I drove around town a little today and horseheads/elmira/big flats area seems ok. Some minor branches down as far as I could tell, though I'm sure there were some worse things that I didn't see. Glad to hear that people are doing ok though!

First off, I hope everyone is ok. Looks to me like we missed the big hit they thought we would get. Had lots of wind here last night, but not really much rain. We lost power for @ 1 hr during the night. I know the barn roof was rattling bad during the night, but it doesn't look any worse today than it did before the storm. It definitely could have been worse.
