horrible live rock smell. HELP!!!

Ok i broke down my 120 put all the live rock into buckets, and notice a foul smell i mean bad, changed the water was ok for a few days and now its even worse, it has this mucus like layer onm the top gross!! What the hell is happening to my rock?

You probably stirred up all the detrius in the tank and your noticing a lot of die off. Good thing that happened while moving the rock to buckets, rather than moving the rocks around in an established tank.

unless there is a powerhead and heater in the container with the rocks it is probably dieing off and causeing the smell.. you are making anerobic bacteria

first thing I thought too, Do you have any heat and flow in the container?

Yes I have both heater and power head. This is driving me crazy what should I do from here? I did a water change and couple of days later back to the horrible smell!!!

Is it just the smell or the water cloudy too ? Do yoou run any carbon ?

Something you did killed some of the critters in the LR. They will smell bad until all the dead tissue has decomposed. All you can do is clean the rocks, and change the water, until the smell goes away. Basically the rocks are "curing" all over again.
