It was awesome i came home for like 5 minutes just to see how things are. then I was like omg where are my clown fish booooom they were hiding in the anemone yess.

i have my clown fish for about 8 to 9 months and have not seen any progress on hosting to my anemone..
what are some of the ways for the clown fish to host ?

What species of clowns and anemone do you have? I have read of cases where people tape a picture of similar clowns and nems hosting to the glass. I have no idea if this is valid or just luck in some cases. It does sort of make sense as your clowns should get motivated by the site of other clowns.

right on saltymight! It is my understanding that there is no "guarantee" that they will host. I have also heard that if there isn't a predator around then they don't feel "the need". My tomato has hosted several different anemones over the years including a condylactus. But now, he really doesn't even hang out in my RBTA. But he used to. But then again he is an old man and pretty much dominates the tank.

I actually didn't do anything. I had an anemone before and tried the picture thing in the past dont know if it actually worked. Well i do have two bubble tips. i have one that i had for a little bit. than i bought a new one and put it right in there favorite hang out. they ignore the new one and went to the other guy .

mine took almost sx months to host. now the male is hosted to my gigantea where as the female just hovers the area... each clown is different in hosting good luck! it will happen

Just thinking about two tanks at a per store there were 4 maroons in a tanks with about 2-3 i think they were rose bulb and they were all fighting over the same anemone. but then the tank next to it there was 3 long tentacle and about 10 occ none of them wanted anything to do with them.
