Whats the best host for these guys? they are 10 1/2 weeks old so they don't need one right now, just wanted some input for later. The tank is a 34gal. Solana. Thanks eric

haddonia are natural hosts but will get too large for a 34 gallon. Try a large bubble anemone or a lta if you have a deep sandbed

more than a foot in diameter. Get a bubble anemone, ime/from what I have seen saddleback clowns aren't too picky about their hosts.

Haddoni's are a good choice for saddlebacks. They do get LARGE though. Mine is about 16" and that's probably about normal. I'm sure if I increased feeding I could have it up around 20 to 24 inches in no time.

Saddlebacks can be skiddish, so if you're going to keep them with an anemone I would suggest training them to eat out of your hand. This way they associate you and your hand with food and not as a threat. When frightened they may hide inside the anemone. I mean inside its digestive system. My haddoni didn't like it when a 6" saddleback started doing this. I had to separate them.

LTAs and Ritteris are natural hosts as well, but will also get too large

IME they are not too picky, BTA should be fine
