Hosting anemone

Hello, I just have few questions, I have owned a few bta but they always end up dying. I never had one larger then 3 inches. Every time I put one in my clowns (one is 2" and the other an 1 1/2") are just drawn to the anemones they seem to die within a few months. My tank is over 2 years old and the water parameters are always in check. Yesterday I got a new bta his a lot bigger then the last 2 this one is about 6 inches. My clowns LOVE it the anemone doesn't seem to mind them being there. I noticed my one clown going after my fire shrimp when he gets close to the anemone. Is it common to have a pair of clowns host an anemone so fast? They were in the frogspawn but dropped that like a hot penny as soon as I put the bta in yesterday. They are sleeping in it right now :). Do you think my first few anemones were just to small to handle the clowns?

What kind of clowns? When you place a natural host into the tank the amount of time they take to find it can be remarkable. Sometimes they will be in the anemone before you even have a chance to place it where you want it.

They are tank raisd ocellaris. I woke up this morning and they are snuggled up so close. It truly is an amazing sight

Hers a few pics. Is the anemone a good size for hosting

The anemone does the hosting, not the clowns. Btas are not natural hosts to ocellaris so it's always iffy. Very cool that yours took to the bta so quickly. I have a pair of ocellaris that also love btas.
