Been there a few times good stuff only problem is when u have pretty much every piece u want or no room left u get very picky with the pieces u buy to round out your collection. And most places have either the usual LPS or Mari culture pieces. Plus it's too far when puppy center was down the street u get spoiled sometimes all u need is salt and bulbs and a cool spot to hang out without driving 2 hours lol

Please take a trip to The Coral Reef in Stratford, then let me know if we are running out of options!

Agree the coral reef is an amazing store....but locally PC was an awesome spot. Hard to fill that void with the local shops in this area.

TCR has become this for me as I am closer to it than PC. I was strictly PC until this place opened, and now I go weekly if possible. Donna has coffee and pastries out and its cool to shoot the s%^* with Kris and Jon. I will be working with them on CTARS discounts, etc. to help the community out in light of PC closing. Those that came to Collins know Jon is down to run a business and help us save at the same time.

Def great people and a great shop. We will continue to make the drive down...but as cliche as it is...you can never have too much of a good thing.

You can make a day of it....Exotic Fish and Coral in Milford (he was nice enough to donate a $100 G/C to our last meeting), Coral Reef, Greenwich Aquaria then House of Fins. Be on the lookout for the times of the speakers at House of Fins so you don't miss your favorite.

I know the owner of HoF has been dealing with a death in the family this week, I am sure there will be more details next week.

I for one am excited about the event, i missed last years and I hear the deals are awesome. I've been to Greenwich Aquaria before and for its location, the prices rivaled anything in the state. HOF is a store that is known nationwide for its great livestock and service. So I will be there, hopefully with a fist full of cash and an ear wide open for some speakers.

+1 Me too

I was also all about PC till the Coral Reef opened. I have know J for a few years from antoher job and he is a good guy, willing to make good deals and help out fellow reef lovers. They are always nice when you walk in and great you by name. With PC closing this will be my strick new go to first store.
