As many of you know, a lot of the same basic questions keep coming up.
i.e..
"I think my clowns have paired up, now what?"
" When all these eggs hatch, how many anemones do I need?
"When the clowns I just got lay eggs, how much money can I plan on making the first year"
"How do I keep the larvae out of the protein skimmer"
Ok so those are a little over emphasized, but you get the point. Quite a few questions come up that have the cart way out in front of the horse.
It's great to have the newbies and at some point all of us were in that boat, but there seems to be so many questions that are over looked and not answered in full. I am guilty of this but I don't have time to quote a chapter of Wilkerson to answear a question. I willing to bet that a lot of these same questions would not come up if the search function worked consistently.
Don't get me wrong, I don't want to come off as being the all knowledgeable, know it all breeder cause I'm not even close. After 2 years i may have a pretty good grasp of the idea but In fact I learn new things every time I'm on the forum. But I think it would be helpful to have a sticky to get things started for any newbies.
Another thing that may be helpful, if anyone has it, would be some links to posts of FAQ's. (besides the ones that say "read the book")
Wasn't there a PDF clownfish breeding someplace? Anyone have a link?
Anyone else see a need for this sticky?
