How about having a "non-club" gathering (beer, etc)?

I think a couple people thought my original post was an underhanded punch directed towards those that help to organize events and keep the club running. That is not the case. I have no problem with anybody in the club...nobody at all. I was just a little bit of humor that didn't come across that well over the internet.
It was/is my fault. I had planned to drive back from vacation for 10.5 hours. I was following the GPS instructions and before I knew it, I was going to SC instead of GA. It was going to add 2 hours to the trip. Corrections to GA would have added maybe more. So we continued on the wrong way. Wrong way indeed, we continued on to the rock slide area which added another almost 2 hours. Yes, my 10 hour trip was almost 14. I should never have looked at the internet when I got home.
I apologize to Spenser for my comments.

Except for CR and AM, I've never been to a meeting that didn't have beer present. I don't drink and yet the two meetings at my house had beer present (I just tell my boys ya'll are a bunch of alcoholics and to just ignore you).
To be honest, I haven't noticed much difference from the way meetings are going now from the way they've always gone -- except, perhaps, there was a little more focus on a reef-related topic in the first year.

Scott you should have came to my house in march. There wasnt any beer there lol. 
But i love how the club is going. There is more things we are doing. I really like the games we been doing with bring a frag and swap. or door prizes. Things like that encourage growth.
