How are the frags from NCPARS FREE FRAG GIVEAWAY?

Not sure on the names, I think byTor mentioned something about he thought they looked like Figi Acros, but I could be mistaken on that. I do know that he has the books on actual coral identification so pm him and see if he looked them up yet.

Thanks,

Rick

Picnic

There is a great park here in Wyomissing, called Cacoosing. The cost is under $100 for a covered pavilion for 100 people, tables, a separate building with kitchen, play area, basketball court, volleyball, stream for fishing, etc. We can do it here rain or shine!

I like the idea of a summer picnic, frag trade, group buy pick-up.

If it were to be just a picnic and prearranged trades it would be easy enough to have it at a park with public grills. I haven't checked the costs in awhile but it used to be like $25 for the day.

Another possibility would be to have a couple of get togethers over the summer in differant area's and on differant dates. If the drive is an issue it could be worked out that the get togethers could be scattered across the state. With multiple get togethers if you can't make one you could always to try to make the next one.

If people wanted to get together I have no problem offering my place. Not a ton of room outside but the inside would hold a fair amount of people.

There is an awesome convention Center and a Jaffa shrine temple here in altoona that could be utilized by NCPARS for a swap if anyone is interested. Plus if anyone doesn't know, Altoona is the City of Hotels/Motels, bars, and resturants. Keep in mind hotels and motels here run a lot cheaper than in most places. The Convention Center has a hotel attached to it too! Hint hint.

Just a thought and I know it would be a drive,

thanks,

Rick

Altoona for a swap sometime would be great.

This summer I was thinking the PSU group might just pick a day and invite any NCPARS members who want to come out for picnic and tank tours. So we could have a couple of "regional picnics" maybe.
