How are they still alive??!

hey guys!

Im just starting my marine tank adventure!
Ive got a 45gl set up with only 10lbs of live rock and 4lbs of base rock so far...thats it lol
One of my rocks came with whatever living coral guys these are and somehow after 4 days they are still alive... they are tough little fighters haha lets hope they stay alive!

I had and still have some of those that came with my rock, they are tough little buggers.

So they might actually survive?? Ooo im excited. They are super green in the middle... I love it!

not only will they survive, if they do they will spread.

First pic are zoas. The second pic may actually be clove polyps.

I actually got two different color variations with my rock. The brown colour ones have remained unchanged in count but the orange color polyps have exploded. It started with two or three and is now up over 40.

The zoas that coat our rocks locally are actually dry for much of the day, depending on tides. People even walk on them and pee on them (!) And they manage to still stick around. They manage to survive 2" deep rock pools where the water gets about as hot as a cup of coffee, and only spread.
As you can imagine, ive filled my tank with them. If a reckless tourist can't kill them, I have a good shot at keeping them alive.

Should I be feeding them somehow? And with what?
I found another type of coral of some sorts.
