How big of water changes do you do? And, how often?

I had been doing 55 gal a month. Now you guys have me thinking I should be doing more. What are you guys using for salt that are doing a 40 gal a week changes?

I use red sea coral pro.i used reef crystals for a while but noticed my alk would go up a full dkh after the water change so i switched back to red sea and i have noticed an improvement in both my parameters and corals
