How big was your anemone when it split?

Just curious. Got mine when it was about 2 inches across and it has grown an inch or so and is splitting. I'm excited and all but was thinking it would be a little bigger before it did. It's big and bubbly and happy so I don't think there is a problem, just wondering if anyone else has had one split this small.

there are many cases of anemones splitting when small and when large there is no size restriction so to speak so when it feels ready to split it will split. mine is the size of a soccer ball and still hasnt split but a friend down the road has 5 all the size of a half dollar that split off one original nem.

Often they split when newly introduced to a new tank and params.
They can split naturally to reproduce, or they can split due to stress.
At that size I would guess the latter.
If it continues to split then you may need to take a look at your tank and params.
