how can I fatten up my copper banded butterfly?

I have had this specimen for 10 months now and he has never gotten any weight on its body.. I feed mysis and formula two flakes.. he only eats the mysis., what else to feed?

A couple foods I use to fatten up a new fish are live blackworms or live brine shrimp. Try not to feed a lot of brine shrimp because most of the live shrimp you can buy a LFS's are not fortified and are just roughage. I have had good success with live black worms, but if the butterfly is still not fattening up after a few weeks it may have to be dewormed with praziquantel.

Try feeding mussels. I use aluminum wire to hold them to a vegetable clip. I also place a rubber band around the shell to keep it closed enough so only the CBB can get into it. Mine loves them and will even eat them out of my hand now.
