how can i tell if my anemone is sick

I was told it will melt away and turn inside out. Is there anyway for sure to tell if its dieing/dead?

Turned inside out, not attaching, and finally melting away is dying/dead.

Melting is the for sure sign of death. If it is not attaching it could still recover from that and if it is turned inside out it is possible to recover but not likely.
