Out of curiosity how did you id this dwarf angel?

I've seen similar before, but not described as hybrids?

You have a lot of very nice fish by the way! I love your wrasses, particularly the Terelabrus - are they very fragile?

Thank you for your post. We will be happy to forward your question to our Aquatics Director regarding the id of the Indian Flameback Hybrid Angelfish. We will post with an answer as soon as possible. The Deepwater Terelabrus Hogfish is considered to have a moderate care level and all of the Diver’s Den species are shipped with extreme care. We recommend performing the drip acclimation procedure with low lighting for the Hogfish but you should have no problems acclimating him.

This incredible little fish is uncommon in the aquarium trade, as its collected around only one atoll in the Maldives at a depth of about 95 to 110 feet.

Some ichthyologists believe these fish are just a regional color variant of Centropyge flavicauda, while others believe it is a cross between Centropyge acanthops and Centropyge flavicauda.

Our supplier had recently sent several of these specimens to Jack Randall for DNA testing, which hopefully will take place very soon, and reveal these fishes true identity.
