How do I add carbon to current setup?

The photo attached was not taken for this post so sorry for poor quality and angle.

I have a 125RR DT with a self made 55 std sump.
First chamber is a filter sock and media pure large block
Second chamber is skimmer
Third chamber is refugium, dsb, chaeto, LR, Chocolate chip starfish, dark damsel, hermit crab (left over from when it was a fowlr)
Forth chamber return pumps

I know I need carbon. I have had the tank up for 6 weeks and just added about 6 heads of palys. I have the room in my sump for carbon; I am just not sure how to secure it and get all of the water to go through it. I was told I could put it in my filter sock. I just want to do better than that. If you are running carbon please share how yours it setup.

I use a two little fishes 150 reactor that is supplied with water from my return pump. My line from the pump to the tank is 3/4" silicone tubing so I simply placed a 3/4x1/2 tee in the line with a 1/2 ball valve on the 1/2 side to regulate flow to the reactor.
I cant tell from your sump pic but it looks like your return line is hard plumbed with pvc, it's still doable with pvc just a little more difficult than when using flexible tubing.
