i posted this in the FOWLR forum, but figured id see what reef keepers have to say also.
i purchased a small potters angel from a LFS about 2 weeks ago. it ate at the store but has not eaten for me in the 2 weeks. it picks at the rocks and seems interested in food, but wont eat. i noticed it becoming less and less active, and tonight upon closer examination, i notice its left fin is torn and the left side of the face is pale, almost like that part of the fish has a film on it. i want to relocate this fish into my 40 breeder just to be safe. but my problem is...HOW DO I CATCH THIS DARN THING?! i have not attempted yet because i didnt want to startle it yet. i like to think that 4 years of working aquatic department gives me very good net skills. but my problem is that it stays in my rocks. do i really have to tear down my tank to catch this fish?
