How do I do a FW dip on a clown the right way?

I have a clown that's twitching it's head a lot a want to do a FW dip but I'd like to know the right way to do it.
Any tips would help a ton

twiching or dancing? do you have a pair of clowns?

FW dips only work for flukes (not eggs) and velvet (if attached longer than 24 hours.) It does not work on ich. It is a great diagnostic tool and gives temporary relief for the fish, but won't get rid of whatever it is your fish has.
