How do I protect anemone from prop pump?

Nothing at the moment as my anemone (see below) has settled in place but in the past I have wrapped the pump in that plastic mesh material you can get to keep leaves out of gutters.

In one case I built a box out of that stuff when a nearby magnifica kept loosing chunks. It worked as the magnifica went on to split into 4 (one of which I kept and still have) about two years later.

Do you have a pic of that anemone? First I've heard of a mag splitting in 4.

To the OP,
Best bet to avoid power head issue is to not buy BTAs IMO. Most covers either don't work or lead to a clogged power head. I would just try to keep the powerhead as far away as possible and not bother trying to cover it.

It didn't split into 4 in one event. It first split into two then a few months later one of those split an so on.

What was unusual was that it arrived (probably 15 years ago now) with two mouths and remained that way for several years (never got photo). On its first split, which took at least a month, one mouth ended up in each 1/2. With the later splits it did it in the usual time-frame of a day or so.
