How do I turn off email notification?

My options in my profile are set to NO for 'use email notification by default' but I still get an email every time there is a reply on any thread I'm subscribed to. It's driving me crazy... can someone please tell me how to turn this off!!

You can't do it. It’s in the works with the new version that will be coming out in the near future. don't subscribe to the threads and you wont get emails.

Ha! Maybe I can send you some of the 100's of emails I get in a day. I don't need this much love!!

I like to subsribe to threads & couldn't stand all the emails. Many email programs have a section to block unwanted emails. I simply added that address & it's been many months of peace.

The only caveat to that approach is that if there's a problem with your account and we contact you about it, it'll come from that same address.

A much better approach would be to setup an Inbox rule for just subscription emails.

Correct, but if I'm contacting you to tell you that you're account has been placed on probation you won't have access to the PM system.

another way is a "fake" email address as your default in your options---then the messages get lost in cyberspace.

or have the messages forwarded to a second account just for RC post messages.

Last I looked there was a place to click on the email that says unsubscribe to this thread. That'll take you off the subscription for that thread...thing is you have to do it for each one.

The point is we like to subscribe to certain threads to keep current but don't need to be emailed about it.

Set up another email that's strictly for RC and forget about it. go in there every month and select all and delete. I can't wait for this new change to come out!!! When is it supposed to be again???

not your rc account---the email that you submitted when you joined--its under edit profile in my rc.
You don't have to mess with the RC one or would want to.

Its as simple as changing a letter or so on that email.

I just finished setting up a mailbox filter to put them all into a separate mailbox - problem solved.
