how do they tell these apart?

I tried posting this in the Foster & Smith forum but for some reason, I can't post there, so here goes ...

I know someone who's interested in getting a schooling bannerfish. If they order from somewhere like LA, how do they know they're getting a Heniochus diphreutes instead of a Heniochus acuminatus?

LiveAquaria sells both separately, so I would trust them to send you the right fish. They are actually pretty easy to tell apart when they are side by side, and you know what to look for. The anal fin is a dead giveaway, at least for me, even in small juvi's.
