How do you do it?

Im just curious, how do you guys get your corals to be big colony's but still over packed your tank with sps?


I am getting tired of having to frag my sps every other week just to keep it from touching other sps or having to move them around. I have colonies but they are not super big colonies.

i'd suggest fragging them weekly and donating them to local reefers (fellow Sacramentan, uh hem...)... Only kidding. i've wondered this as well. In a lot of the larger more extravegant tanks I see interlocked colonies living in harmony. Whether ignorant or just plain blind, I always thought they might attack eachother.

Well i am always up for trade and sell frags/colony for cheap for my fellow sacrametan..?


I tried to let them grow out on each other but the slowest grower always losses.

i just let them grow into each other, most of the time they leave themselves alone and one of the coral will cover the other one, it looks pretty cool
