how do you frag a kenya tree

cut them, break them attach them with rubber bands to rubble. mine frag themselves..

Just use something sharp to cat a branch off.

I use cotton thread to attach the frag to a small rock.

It is always good to use razor blades to make a clean cut, otherwise, healing time will take longer.

for kenya trees, just wait a few months and you will have tons of frags. i just got rid of my kenya tree after having it about a year. it grew into a good sized tree and then started dropping stalks about once a week. it was getting anoying finding rouge kenya trees popping out of the rockwork.

My filefish does this job: sample, taste, drop. Attaches in a day-two. Done.

Just wait man... It will frag on it's own. My kenya was my first addition and it was out of my tank in 3 months, the one tree turned into 15, I couldn't keep up with it. I am still finding trees in my rockwork.

Like everyone else said, they will frag themselves. If you don't want to wait, just rip the thing out with your fingers. They usually pluck cleanly, and heal quickly with no infection.
