How do you keep a maxijet suctioned to the tank?

Title kind of says it - how are you keeping your maxi-jets attached The suction cups just do not hold for very long. Help! Wife does not like putting her hands in the tank when I am out of town!

^+1 with the magnet, take a razor blade and scrape the glass where you want to suction and make sure you press firmly. Has helped me tremendously... Any slight algae film will make the cups lose suction...
