How do you make a mount your led fixture? What's yours like?

I got the standard led dimmable fixture 120w it is heavy. I usually just leave the light on top of my glass top but since I got a 20gal long it was been bending the top. This morning it had a huge crack all across. I was lucky to see it before something bad happens while I was in school. The light came with 4 hanging cables never used it.

I don't want to make any holes in the wall or anything. Is there an alternative? How do you guys do it?

look up on youtube....theres a bunch of ways you can hang the light without drilling your ceiling..........the cheapest way I think would be using pvc

electical conduit, i bent in then bolted it to the stand. It looks better in person. Theres all kinds of hardware to mount the conduit.

How do you bend it? Or is it bought like that?

i watched some utube videos on how to bend conduit then went to lowes. I just bent the pipe in the store with one of their tools and then paid for the conduit, it was like 5 bucks. I left the two mounts on the stand loose so i can swing the light to the side so i can have access above the tank when i do maintenance.

Seeing everyone's tank make me feel like mine is mediocre lol. I'm gonna research a bit more on how to make a mount I am not handy at all so it might tank a while. So for now I went and bought a light panel grate and reinforced it for the light fixture to sit one for the time being. Thank you everyone for the input

Sig, What material is your light stand made of? Meaning....... where did you get it and what is it?

I bought from a face book site "REEFKOI" and it is made of aluminum . I know some of you out there could have built your own stand but in my defense, I AM MECHANICALY DECLINED. lol
