how do you make zoas grow?

hey guys,

does anyone know of anything in particular that helps make zoas/polyps grow/multiply. would spot feeding help them at all? thanks!

In the past, I've always fed my tank more heavily than most, and had good zoanthid growth/multiplication.
In a few months, I'll have some zoas in my 390 and hope the same thing happens.
