How do you save your programs

I had my base unit die on me a couple of weeks ago and lost everything. I just got everything configured again and I want to save it in case I ever loose it again. How do I do this? I see the Load/Save option but it just downloads a .bin file.

Yes, that what it does. It saves a file of all your settings and program code. In the event of a failure, you can then restore all, or a portion, of your settings from the previously saved file. What are you wanting it to do?

I was thinking it saved a file that I could save on my computer somewhere so if I ever did loose it again, I will have it to restore to what I had.

Are you accessing it via the web interface? If so, you should get a File Download window, click Save and you should get a Save As window. There you can choose where to save the file.

When you save it, rename the file and keep multiple versions. I use config_mmddyy.bin as my nomenclature. Use something that makes sense for you.
