How do you test MG?

How do you test Magnesium? Both my saltwater and my reef API kits don't have a test for that. Am I missing the obvious here?

Nvm, I found that RedSea sells a MG kit..

I prefer Salifert for all of my testing needs.

A word of caution however - with the other test kits mixing times are not too critical. With the Magnesium test kits, if it says swirl for 30 seconds then do just that. I have found that variations in the testing procedure can give very different results with MG testing kits (regardless of manufacturer)

Indeed. Good test, good results, but dependent on allowing things to mix well. Use an egg timer.

I've always liked the Salifert MG test.

I use the Red Sea Pro for Magnesium. Has worked well for me.

I use Salifert myself for Mg.

IMO, either Salifert or Red Sea will do the job. You can't go wrong with one or the other.
