how do you treat HLLE?

I got this tiny blue hippo tang (~1") that I'm holding for a friend and I think it may have or is developing HLLE. According to my friend who go it a couple months ago, the fish has been eating fine and exhibited no signs of stress.

It has this white spot, sort of looks like skin is coming off, on the forehead and the black line near the eye seems to be "eroding." I know the juveniles lose part of the line near the eye as they grow but this is isn't just disappearing, it's sort of turning grey-ish (if that makes any sense).

I'll try to get pics as soon as I can but it moves around alot.

How do I treat it?

I'm fighting this as well, started with accidentally electrically zapping my tank.
I'm having good luck with lots of water changes and lots of vitamin soaked food. I've been soaking food in VitaChem, but I've got some selcon on the way. Run some shrimp, clams, mussels and nori through the food processor with some tank water, garlic and vitamins, lay flat and freeze. Also found a frozen food from Ocean Nutrition called "Special Formula VHP"... its high protein and very vitamin enriched... fish seem to love it.
Seems to have gotten the problem under control, so hopefully mine will start healing up.
Keep the fish fat and happy, and make sure the water is clean.

I've read "soak in garlic" in many posts.

How exactly are you guys doing that?

Do you buy fresh garlic, grind it, soak the food and serve?

Do you rinse after the soaking ?
