I got this tiny blue hippo tang (~1") that I'm holding for a friend and I think it may have or is developing HLLE. According to my friend who go it a couple months ago, the fish has been eating fine and exhibited no signs of stress.
It has this white spot, sort of looks like skin is coming off, on the forehead and the black line near the eye seems to be "eroding." I know the juveniles lose part of the line near the eye as they grow but this is isn't just disappearing, it's sort of turning grey-ish (if that makes any sense).
I'll try to get pics as soon as I can but it moves around alot.
How do I treat it?
