How does your current batch of Fiji look?

I'm about to set up a 120G tank, and I'm going to order some live rock from you guys after all the great things I've heard about your stock, but first I wanted to see how to current batch of Fiji was. I'd ideally like a fair number of flat-ish pieces, closer to shelf than boulder for easy aquascaping, and since it's a new tank, the more life the better :-D. That Manado rock looks fantastic, so I'll definitely be buying some of that, I'd just also like to get a good number of shelf-ish pieces in there for easy livestock placement.

The current batch of Fiji is looks great right now. The shapes are not as good as Manado, but the life and coverage on the rock is. We are the only reseller right now that is offering Fiji rock that is actually flown into the United States. All others are bringing in boat rock right now, which means the rock is on an ocean freighter for approximately 3-4 weeks until it arrives. Our Fiji is out of the water for approximately 48hrs until it arrives to us.

When will you be getting another shipment of manado? I came in last Saturday and bought some fiji rock
Which is awesome . But I want to fill out the rest of the tank with manado. Preferably large pieces.

Manado was supposed to be arriving yesterday but there was no space for freight on the flights out of the island in Indonesia this past week, so our new ship date is 1/29 arrival into the US.

That's correct, the Manado shipment was delayed due to major flooding in the islands in Indonesia. We are hoping to receive our next batch Tuesday or Wednesday.

Just thought I'd post back a few weeks later, the rock is absolutely fantastic. There are probably close to a dozen different kinds of coraline on the Manado alone, and the Fiji is already CRAWLING with life. I should be getting the tank filled and the initial aquascaping done in the next few days, and I'll be back for more to fill in the gaps.

The Manado is probably the best LR I've ever seen in terms of the variety of types of coraline algae on it, and after a couple weeks in sterilite containers there is already a remarkable amount of life crawling out of the Fiji rock. Worms, sponges, tiny little swimy things, and lord knows what else.

just informed it will be two more weeks due to bad weather in the area ..... nothing good happens fast in reefkeeping :)

I just watched a video on the rock it looks like some of my favorite pieces in my sons tank, I will be sitting up a 40 gallon breeder and wondering how much rock to use, and is the price including shipping? thanks in advance

Just thought I'd update, I got some more rock.

I ordered some "South Pacific Ultra", which is absolutely fantastic. I'll have to post up some pictures, because words can't really describe. Gorgeous, covered with coraline, macro, and all sorts of living things including one or two SPS.

I also got some Fiji "Shelf Rock" that wasn't really up to par. I was told it was from a different supplier than normal, but most of it kinda looked like bleached tabling Acro that had been in salt water for a brief period of time.

I'd recommend steering clear of that, though I really couldn't be happier with the Manado, South Pacific Ultra, and regular Fiji rock.
