How does your pink tail trigger get on with your shrimps & snails?

As per the title - has your pink tail ever molested your shrimp or snail populations?

I'd like to hear either way, and how long you've had them........ trying to get a bigger picture view of a pink tail will behave with shrimps & snails.

Thanks,

Matt

I have a Pinktail in a 240 with 6 Skunk Cleaners no problems, he will wait in line with the other fish when one of the cleaners opens shop.

Been reading around a bit - maybe if the shrimps were well estblished first they'd be ok.

currently trying to persuade the mrs. that we actually do need to get a bigger tank - she's cautiosly warming to the idea ;-)

I could be trying a pair!!!

In the end, it is up to you, but this species' diet is quite cosmopolitan, with crustaceans making a sizable portion of it. I just wouldn't risk it, but that is me.

I suppose the odds of getting a pair are slim to none..... prehaps one reasonably big trigger is enough for any large tank anyway.

Re. the shrimps and trigger..... others have commented if shrimps are introduced first, and there are plenty of nooks and crannies, and the trigger is well fed, then they should be ok.

Others have even reported on the trigger lining up for cleaning shrimp services.

And yet others have offered that the shrimps would probably be lunch...........

I dunno - I guess it really is just a case of either risk it, or dont........ poor shrimps...... I probably won't unless I get alot of "I've done it, no prob" replies.
Thanks

Matt
