How is my Aquascape? Do I need more rock?

Looks like an aio tank. Depends on livestock, i would say you will need more rocks to take the bioload if you like to have more fish.

29g BioCube -- Plan to keep SPS and some Zoa's on the little island on the bottom right.

I'll be re-working my rock structure tonight, Id rather it be something amazing than something okay with an extra rock or two thrown in.

Thats what I was thinking. I'm just gonna throw in my spare rock and push this Biofilter I cultivated to power cure some rock

I've got 1 Liter of Matrix BioMedia and a pretty strong Biofilter going right now, cycle was done in 2 weeks and it was processing 2-3ppm Ammonia in 12-ish hours (Carbon dosing is amazing)

I like this much better. I also doubled my rock so undoubtedly I'll get a fat Ammonia spike. But I'm carbon dosing so hopefully the bacteria knock it out quickly.

I liked the first place one better. Aquascapes are tough. You want to go for artistic effect. But you need space to place your corals. You need place for your fish to hide. You need good flow through the rock work. So just there you have four goals all in competition.

As I said, I liked your first one better. But the second might work better with the fish and corals you are putting on in. Also the second one is good too.

your revised version is very neat ! make sure you have enough room in the back for water flow so it does not trap detritus. Not sure what happened on the back wall but If it was all black you would have a much nicer tank..

Thanks all! The first one had some merit but it was missing a few things that would really have driven it home -- I feel the second is still visually appealing, but much better for corals / fish as others had stated

Yeah this tank was picked up used, pretty sure its dead coraline algae but I just couldn't get it off even with vinegar and scrubbing like mad.
