My clown and BTA were in the same tank for about 3 weeks and the clown never went even remotely close to the anemone. By chance, I turned all power off to the tank except lighting and the only thing moving for about 15 minutes was the anemone and clown. Either by inquisitiveness or fear he moved close enough to the anemone that they touched once or twice. It was a brief encounter, but enough I think to open things up. Within the next few days I found the clown in the BTA until the lights came on. Once the lights came on he would venture out. The tank is small an ADA 7g. but I am setting up a bigger tank for him. He was to go in my sps tank but I opted against it. Needless to say I thought the smallness of the ADA would be enough to coax him into the BTA but it was not. I did not have any other coral in the tank at the time. I have added a few little blastos and a ricordia and small leather and he continues to just stay at the BTA until the lights come on...so I am not sure if this is a temporary place for him or not. No other fish is in the tank. HTH
