How long can I leave my reef (39 gal cube) run without the overflow filter running?

I still have a Korrila 2 and another peguin 500 powerheads running.

The Toms aqualifter I just noticed gave out and did not want to take the chance that the overflow would stop and flood the floor. So I just ordered a new aqualifter and rebuild kit from Big Al's. Should be 3-4 days.

i would say a day or two. I would go get a cheap small HOB filter just to have some type of filtration till the other one gets in...

You should be fine for a few days. I think I'd do a 10-15% water change to help reduce any excess nutrients after the 3-4 days also.

Forgot to mention I am also running a protien skimmer.

Shouldn't be a problem at all, you may want to do a water change when you get it running again if your skimmer is no longer getting flow from the tank.
