I've gotten myself in a bind and I'm wondering how long my fish can go without food. Its been 3days so far =/ I wasn't planning on being gone for so long, but family matters have made it impossible to get back. I'm hoping I'll be able to get back tonight, you think I have anything to worry about? 2 clowns and a goby, and cleaner shrimp.

I go to miami biweekly and leave the tank for 3-4 days. They seem fine when I get back. I guess they find stuff around the tank to nibble on. just do a large feeding when you get back.

It depends on if you have any food sources within your aquarium that your fish can exploit until your return. With a decent amount of live rock, your fish should be fine.

I have a 55 with lots of homemade liverock with hollow spots galore. For livestock, I have 2 green chromis, 1 Royal Gramma, 1 Six line wrasse and 1 Skunk Cleaner Shrimp. There is also a star (not a sand sifting) and plenty of snails & crabs for clean up crew.

I have not fed my tank since August 2006. THe tank has been up and running since May 2005
