Today was a sad day for me. The circuit that runs my tank has blown and the electrician came to try and fix it, but he has to come back tomorrow and rplace some wiring or something. The problem is that I am leaving tomorrow and won't be back in town until Sunday. Do u guys think that the tank will be ok until Sunday with no light?

Thanks

IMO all ok, when corals shipped over seas...held a couple days, low light if any, then on plane 1-2 days total time, then maybe even reoxed and shipped throughout the US...should be ok...if anything have windows open and some light will be better than none... all IMO

A week or 2 should not kill anything, if its been awhile maybe just ramp up the lighting schedule once your problem is fixed.

You need to keep the temp and water airated. If would get some heat packs to try to keep the water with in 75 and maybe some battery operated air pumps you can find anywhere. Although not much it will help.

The corals should be fine but I would feed them just a little bit of food, SPS corals do not have any lipids (fat) cells to store energy. So if you don't have light give them a little food for their polyps to feed upon.

As said before light shall be no problem, temperature, water circulation and skimming are a must. Chances of an extension cord?
