Ive had 2 emperor 400s full with their media baskets and a bag of cuprisorb. And even a media bag hanging by a powder head for a week now.
My cupramine levels are still about .2ppm. It was like .4 at its highest. I did a 30% watee change too in the beggining.
The cuprisorb bag isnt even changing colors to blue like seachen says it will so i dunno if its working. Could the carbon be exhausted already ? Its about 2 cups worth a carbon almost so i dont see how.. but the levels dont seem to be dropping anymore.
And im wondering if this is why my fish are breathing heavier..
So tea just curious should i change the carbon out or does it take longer . Its a 135 gallon tank.
