How long does morphing to a female take?

I just got a TR Osc. and I'm curious how long it will take for him to become a female/male?

He was one of the smallest in the tank and is only about 1-1.5 in. long. But the black clown I plan to buy has been in its own tank for awhile I imagine.

Should I be worried both will morph into females? Or does this process take more then a couple weeks?

I copied this out of the facts section at the top of this forum

A: For a clownfish to change sex two requirements must be met. First the fish must be physically mature (12-24 months old) and must have an environmental cue to transform. The cue to become a female is the lack of a female in the environment. The cue to become male is that a dominate female is present in the environment, but the environment is lacking a male. The cue to remain sexless is that the environment has an existing dominate female and male pair.

Yea, I read a number of those but they all gave pretty general answers. It's possible I read it and forgot or passed over it though.

This process isn't just a few weeks though right? The transition from juvinile to male, then male to female could take months? Or once they have aged to maturity they could change overnight?
