How long for refunds

Wife placed an order for me on the 3rd for some items and we got contacted saying none of the items were in stock and were told they were on manufacturer back order and asked what we wanted to do. I requested refund back to Paypal that day and its now the 8th and no refund has been issued. How long does it take to issue a refund back via Paypal through you? Just trying to stay on top of this.
I ordered the same items through another vendor after contact from you and they were all delivered today....
 
Good luck. I'm shocked they even contacted you. None of us got that! I have a copy of y receipt stating they gave my refund back to my card for a legal backup.

I'd keep calling and ONLY ask for Albert.
 
I believe PayPal has a 30 day policy. Aqua Cave will have up to 30 days to respond to that request, if they do not you will recieve your refund after the 30 days. You should have requested the refund directly from Aqua Cave.

Read my post as I did request it directly from Aquacave they day they notified us the parts were on manufacturer back order. They charged me instantly through a Paypal payment and its just as easy to credit me back through Paypal. I shouldn't have to wait 30 days for a refund through a retailer JUST because Paypal was used for a payment. I know how Paypal works as I have been a member since the yr they started and how easy it is to refund a payment received through them..I have done it many times when we used them as a payment source for a warehouse of Ford parts we sold off years ago

We are not able to control the processing of Paypal payments because Paypal automatically charge your account. The only information we receive with regards to your order are the item/s ordered and processing information.
(ie: Name and Address)

In our company policy, we do not charge any item/s that we do not have in-stock therefore all back order items are not charged until we are able to confirm availability and shipment.

Well I finally got the refund posted but it took 8 days to get it credited back. Elana was the one that sent it. I think 8 days is a little long to initiate a refund back when it was requested directly to you on the same day it was ordered and we were told it was out of stock on back order...Paypal sends a instant payment so it will show on your end at the time the order was placed......

It would be nice if you had a real time inventory like other sites do so people are not trying to order items that are not in stock........Just a thought
